Linking PAN Card and Aadhar Card

The government has extended the deadline for attaching Aadhaar card to Pancard. Now its deadline is March 31, 2020. If you fail to link your PAN card and Aadhar card by this deadline, the Income Tax Department will charge Rs 10,000 for this. If you do not do so, you may have to pay a penalty for violating this rule. PAN card and Aadhar card will be immediately linked. If you want to file your tax return and take important financial steps like opening a bank account, buying and selling property, applying for a loan or credit card, investing, etc. then linking the PAN and Aadhaar is a must.



Filing an ITR

The last date for filing an income tax is 31 March 2020. If you do not have to file before then you will have to pay a penalty of Rs. In addition, if there is any discrepancy in your RTI, the deadline to file an amended return. Entering the next financial year without filing an ITR can lead to difficulties. Therefore, it is okay to file your deferred or amended return within this timeframe.

Debit card and credit card use

If you use a debit card and a credit card, then on March 16, 2020, your debit and credit card facility will be shut down today. Online and contactless transaction services on debit and credit cards will be shut down on March 16. In a statement dated January 15, 2020, the Reserve Bank (RBI) told these card issuing companies that, if no existing cards have been used for online transactions for a long time, they will essentially be closed.


Subsidy on homeowners based on PM accommodation plan

The last date for benefit of the Prime Minister's Housing Scheme for the people of the Middle Income Group is March 31. Based on this scheme, middle income group can avail of credit subsidy for home purchase. Those earning Rs 6-12 lakh a year will also get a credit subsidy of 4%. Those earning Rs 12 lakh to Rs 18 lakh a year will get a credit subsidy of 3 percent.
